Do you have a passion for technology processes and detail to bring the silicon development process to design teams? You will be part of a team responsible for delivering the latest EDA tool capabilities to the silicon teams within Microsoft. As part of this position, you would be responsible for installation, qualification, and supporting the Libraries and Physical Design flow development. You will be involved in PDK evaluations as well. • Development of Physical Design and Library flows
• Qualify and analyze various vendor Libraries, PDKs, etc. and develop associated flows/checks
• Run experiments to determine libraries to get the best PPA
• Automation via script and tool writing for data gathering and analysis, setting up regressions, etc.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field with 4+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experienced in various aspects of Physical Design (like Synthesis, PnR, Floorplanning, CTS, EMIR, STA, DFM, LVS, etc.) with expertise in one or more areas
• Good at scripting/coding

Preferred Qualifications:

• Physical Design flow development experience
• Experienced in qualifying and analyzing libraries
• Knowledge of advanced processes and PDK collaterals
