PhD Scientist / Life Scientist  - Oral Care

The individual will work in the Measurement Science Organizations on a unique interface between technology development, formula design, biological performance and external collaborations. The role will focus on biological performance methods in support of Oral Care programs, holistic integration of measurement science tools into the overall technology and formulation assessment. We are looking for a Scientist with a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biological Chemistry, or another relevant field with strong technical and people skills and a passion for fundamental understanding . This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-moving and agile global team to grow and shape future of Oral Care.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Integration of several existing in-vitro methodologies to enable holistic understanding of formula performance.
• Development of models (laboratory, virtual, empirical as well as 1st principles) that can be applied to biological performance prediction.
• Incorporation of state of the art tools in analytical chemistry, biological chemistry, biology, and potentially "omics" into our tool-box
• Development and incorporation of new testing approaches needed to showcase benefits of oral care products
• Collaboration and multifunctional partnership within the company as well as establishing external collaboration with academic partners.

This assignment will enable individual to work and influence a variety of projects from an early idea inception through product development and scale-up. Model development, necessary for assessment of product performance, will include in-vitro, ex-vivo, and in-vivo experiments.

Qualifications

Technical Mastery â€“ PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biological Chemistry, etc
