Guides and influences technical project direction and solves significant technical problems by leveraging scientific/engineering skills and strong foundational Product Design/Development understanding developed through hands-on experimentation/application. Performs Application work and demonstrates implementation skills leveraging knowledge that moves projects forward and also begins to gain exposure to and demonstrate initial proficiency in performing integration work.​ Develops new test methods/ equipment/ protocol. Develops complex technical solutions for meeting consumer propositions. Applies data science and Engineering for technology problem solutions. Leads sub-projects in technology development and leads multi discipline integration. Sets up learning plans, complex prototype build ups.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must be pursuing a PhD degree in a STEM field (e.g., Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field) and:

• Strong technical mastery in organic chemistry (preferred) with exposure to green chemistry and sustainability principles
• A curious mindset and a passion about discovering new things
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to translate results into actionable insights and recommendations
• Strong innovation and creative problem-solving skills
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments
