Are you ready to step into a position that combines your communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and unrelenting drive to help patients? We’re looking for Licensed Pharmacy Technicians to join our Accredo pharmacy team. 

If you’ve worked a retail pharmacy role before, this role is completely different â€“ you will be spending your days on the phone and computer to work with patients to get them the medications they need. You’ll focus on building real pharmacy skills and making a difference in dozens of lives every single day. Also, our facilities are closed to the public, so you can feel safe and secure when you join our team. 

How you’ll make a difference:

  • Be a superstar in the eyes of providers and patients alike: Either on the phone or via email, partner with physicians and their patients to complete profiles, accurately order medications, and help answer any patient questions. 
  • Use your expert problem solving skills to help our patients be at their best every day: Work with patients and doctors to research issues with medication coverage to help patients get the medication they need.
  • Create new knowledge with our systems and new relationships with your peers: You’ll start with training and enjoy a supportive environment with your peers who want you to succeed.

What you should have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Pharmacy technician license/certification/registration as required by state laws. 
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician 
  • Basic math skills and General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email is required 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

NOTE: You will be required to have reliable internet connectivity provided through a wired connection.  A mobile or hot spot environment is not acceptable and you may need to purchase an Ethernet cord depending on your current set up. 

For positions that are Onsite:

This role is located onsite which expects most work to be performed at a Cigna office location, but may allow for some work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite. Currently, due to the pandemic, we are encouraging all employee to remain working from home and all onsite meetings require a virtual option. However, we expect that this role will likely return to being performed primarily at an office location.
