JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, supports the needs of assigned Perioperative supply departments in the hospital by ensuring that inventory is obtained in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains a high standard of accuracy and interacts frequently with the hospital material management system. Efficiently manages tasks while working in a sterile, fasted paced, and high demand environment Maintains supply levels to PAR in assigned perioperative areas of the hospital at all times.

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with physicians and other perioperative team members as requested to ensure all intraoperative preferences are met
• Proactively addresses supply needs and other customer service issues
• Maintains supply levels to PAR in assigned perioperative areas of the hospital at all times
• Monitor inventory usage
• Daily ordering, including Requisition Processing via Lawson
• Orders high dollar surgical supplies
• Monitors discrepancies
• Open PO reconciliation
• FIFO -Closely monitors expiration dates of all products and documents findings on a monthly basis to ensure compliance
• Performs cycle counts
• Maintains clean and safe work environment
