Your role is within the Performance Management and Forecast Team which is part of a wider multi-disciplinary Support Services team that covers Performance Management, Capacity and Forecasting, MI and Analysis, Scheduling & Contractor Management.

Collects, identifies, analyzes and interprets business data using various techniques to meet the organization's business needs and requirements.

Job Description:

Becoming a Performance Management Analyst within Capita Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

About the role:

Your role is within the Performance Management and Forecast Team which is part of a wider multi-disciplinary Support Services team that covers Performance Management, Capacity and Forecasting, MI and Analysis, Scheduling & Contractor Management.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Development of operational and planning tools, processes and checks;
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement in association with their stakeholders;
  • Ensure the smooth and optimal running of the operation;
  • Impact assess proposed or imposed changes in the operation;
  • Model the quantitative requirements required as part of the development of new contracts to be awarded in 2021.

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

  • The ability to read, analyse and interpret numbers, with clear logical thinking and attention to detail;
  • Be highly capable in the core Microsoft office software, especially Excel, which needs to be used to an Advanced Level;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • People and stakeholder management skills, ready to build relationships;
  • Flexibility and being adaptable to change;
  • Ability to work remotely as part of a wider team including other specialist and operational roles principally (travel will be required to our office space, either in Birmingham or Belfast);
  • Ability to work on own initiative;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Desirable:

  • Skills in Excel VBA programming;
  • Microsoft Access experience;
  • Understanding of simulation approaches (and use of appropriate software);
  • Ability to conduct statistical analysis (and use of appropriate software);
