The Data Solutions department are continuing to expand and are currently seeking various individuals who either have a background in Data Analysis or Pensions or, with the right training and support, would like to build a career that offers opportunities to develop and progress - perhaps you have graduated and are looking for a career in data.

For the roles with no pensions experience required don’t worry, we will provide you with the training and support to succeed in your role. Furthermore with a great succession plan in place you will be able to further build your career within Capita .

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Proactively contribute to the delivery of assigned projects and scheme events
  • Undertaken own work and review the work of Pensions Data Technicians and collaborate with Senior Pensions Technicians to provide feedback and technical support
  • Support and assist the management team where required
  • Regularly contribute to reviews of the effectiveness and efficient of existing systems and controls and make suggestions to continually enhance service delivery and improve processes
  • Running and specifying data extracts from the administration system including bespoke reports
  • Perform bulk calculations in Excel
  • Provide project updates and time scales to the GMPr Manager.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience of working on Defined Benefit Occupational Pension schemes is essential for the experienced roles. For those with no experience, an interest, experience or qualifications in data science for example.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Advanced excel skills, (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, ability to manipulate data in bulk, data reports etc.)
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
