Job Description

In the role you will be trained to be responsible for maintaining and validating plan records to include census, contributions, claims, reimbursements, investments, insurance and other plan data as well as ongoing valuation, calculation and reconciliation of trust assets for the plan. Performing various plan testing to include qualification, discrimination (ADP/ACP) and stress testing to assure participant qualification, non-discrimination across job levels, and plans that adequately consider unanticipated (stressed) problems. Preparing pension plan reports in accordance with regulatory (ERISA, IRC), legal, accounting and organizational requirements to include valuation reporting, IRS 5500 tax filings, annual statements, audit, management and individual member reporting. Providing high level of customer service to pension plan participants and service providers by responding to calls and facilitating requests addressing plan provisions, benefits, payment elections, payments, information updates, changes, etc.

What you will do:

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent numeracy skills with a GCSE C or above in Maths
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Administration and customer services
  • Ability to achieve targets and work towards deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
  • Previous pensions administration experience would be desirable
