Shape better services as Trainee Pensions Administrator

Capita is looking for a Trainee Pensions Administrator to join our Pensions team, providing administration and telephony support to all clients. As a Trainee pensions administrator you will work within a team in the provision of full lifecycle administration services for all clients, scheme members and their dependents in line with service level agreements and in accordance with legislation, policy conditions, business rules and procedures and within the regulatory framework.

It’s your depth of administration and customer service experience, plus your passion for numbers which can make all the difference in our pensions team, who play an integral role within our employee solutions business area.   This role is a four months fixed term contract.

What you will do:

  • Create and maintain consistent and accurate pension scheme records and events
  • Work within set key performance Indicators and quality standards and to make every effort to achieve these
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients, members and third parties in line with service level agreements
  • Complete all tasks using current work procedures
  • Participate in and promote good team communication
  • Undertake all relevant training courses to improve pensions and internal systems knowledge and capability

    What we’re looking for:

  • Good numeracy skills with a GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent to this) in Maths
  • Experience with Microsoft packages including Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
  • Administration experience (desirable)
