The role: PX Payroll Advisor
Whom does it report to: PX Payroll Manager
Direct Reports: x2 Payroll Administrators
Where is it based: GLH, London
The hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm (Monday to Thursday), 9.00am – 5.00pm (Friday)
The Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Maintain all Payroll records and reports on a monthly basis
· Ensure accurate Monthly & ad hoc payments to employees and payroll providers
· Working with the payroll provider to ensure accurate payments each month
· Regular updates with the PX Admin Team to ensure accurate information processed on time
· Assisting the Payroll Manager to ensure compliance with HMRC and current Legislation
· Monitoring the Benefits portal to ensure reports sent accurately reflect employee benefit choices
· Assisting with the reconciliation of Salaries Control Account in line with Finance monthly reporting
· Ongoing correspondence with benefit, pension & payroll providers
· Ensure monthly Benefit information is received and checked in regard to collation of Annual reporting information
· Assist with Statutory payments and absence calculations
· Assist with managing any payroll or ASOS Benefit related queries from the PX Team on a daily basis. Supporting any new changes to Benefits, ensuring all parties are aware of all new changes and they are processed correctly through the payroll.
· Contribute and support the continuous improvement of reward systems seeking out opportunities to automate manual processes for greater efficiency and ensuring they underpin our Company values.
· Providing guidelines and training for PX admin teams on any updates to policies, benefits or statutory compliance.
· Supporting and covering for the Payroll Manager in their absence
· Management of direct reports, X2 Payroll Administrators, Training, delegation of daily duties, objective setting, approvals of expenses and holidays.
· Providing (internal) training for payroll administrators.
· Support special projects and Payroll processing as required by the Senior Reward & Payroll Partners
· Assist in sharing management of the Payroll People & Pension inboxes ensuring queries are picked up and responded to within agreed timescales.
· Developing relationship and processes with all 3rd party providers.
· Support Payroll Manager with collation and submission of Annual calendar events including End of Year and P11D collation
· Building a strong relationship and be the main point of contact for Payroll enquiries at GLH
o Supporting with more complex enquiries
· Always looking for new ways to enhance current service provided, build more efficient ways of capturing and sharing data into Workday and payroll System.
· Regularly reviewing and ensuring payroll polices are up to date.
· Understand and ensure compliance in regard to employee data with relevance to GDPR
Internationals
· Experience of running international payrolls and dealing with ICP’s
· Exposure to, US, German, Hong Kong, Turkey & France
· Global Mobility experience
· Good understanding of shadow payrolls
· Ability to take ownership of the international remit
· To oversee payroll reporting and reconciliations with Finance
· Can establish ongoing relationships with payroll provider
· Strong understanding of monitoring procedures of the outsources provider
Project Work
· Has had experience involved in high profile project work - Workday
· Ability to understand, define and scope out required configuration of project
· Has the ability to understand and analysis large quantities of data
· Resilience to deal with ever changing scope
· Has a strong ability to work collaboratively on projects and build relationships with stakeholders
· Ability to document issues arising from testing and feedback to effected parties
· Has a strong understanding of who to solve complex payroll issues
· Able to take a forensic view of the payroll function and look at ways to streamline it for continued success and efficiency
· Ability to be a confident decision maker

· Salaries and other payments are processed on time
· The Payroll & Pension is run accurately each month with minimal errors & queries
· Timely response to payroll related queries from the business
· Benefit portal updated every month
· Manual tasks are automated where possible
Skills and experience you will need:
Experience
· Previous Payroll & Pension Administration experience is essential
· Excellent administrative skills with a keen attention to detail
· Team player, with bags of energy and enthusiasm to learn
· Computer literate with intermediate skills in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
· Aptitude for numbers, data, absorbing vast quantities of information

· Able to keep information confidential and demonstrate 100% discretion
· Methodical, accurate and organised with a keen eye for detail
· Ability to prioritise workload without supervision
· Maintaining a professional attitude and pleasantness at all times
