Delivering excellence as a Payroll Administrator at Capita HR Solutions:

We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our Payroll team based in Belfast. You would be working within an HR Service Centre providing a first class service to the employees within our client’s business.

To provide pro-active administration support in managing primarily Payroll operational activity in line with SLA targets for our clients. To be the first point of contact for Payroll administration within own function and work closely with the Payroll Controller with a view to assisting. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Being the first point of contact for Payroll administration within their specified team, liaising with all staff required.

  • To quality check the work of the other team Administrators.

  • To be the first point of contact if a query arises and escalate issues to Team Leader or Payroll Controller as appropriate.

  • Answering and responding to queries in line with system script and relevant policies and procedures.

  • Ensure all Productivity details are recorded accurately in line with the BA framework in a timely manner.

  • Ensure all work is carried out to meet SLA’s / KPI’s and Shared Service Centre standards.

  • Support Payroll Controller in their role stepping up as point of contact with client and customer needs.

  • Be proactive in personal development, contributing fully with performance management and development processes.

Other tasks may be assigned to the role over time based on business need and following consultation with the post holder.

  • Strong administration skills

  • Previous Payroll Administration Experience (Desirable)

  • Good attention to detail

  • Experiencing of multi-tasking and prioritising

  • Excellent telephone skills

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
