About the Payroll Administrator: 

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for accuracy and timely completeness of U.S. and Canada payroll processing. They will oversee the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. The Payroll Administrator reports to the Controller. 

Location: Ogden, UT - Hybrid 

 

What will you do? 

Knowledge of payroll concepts, FLSA requirements and regulatory compliance by state   

Knowledge of Federal, multi-state and local payroll taxation requirements, child support orders, and garnishments  

Assist with questions concerning the timekeeping system  

Compile Adjustments, review payroll audit reporting, calculate and complete and companywide payroll timely and accurately  

Ensure and verify approvals from appropriate leadership for payroll related data inputs  

Process final pay in accordance with internal policy and individual state regulations  

Ensure bonuses and other supplemental pay are processed timely and accurately  

Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit requests as they arise  

Provide necessary payroll deduction and earnings reports for distribution to Benefits, Talent Solutions and Executive team as needed  

It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within their capabilities as determined by management. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience as outlined below  

Experience with full-scale payroll processing  

Must demonstrate knowledge of Payroll Process Flow, FLSA, Federal and multi-state payroll tax requirements and regulatory compliance  

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
