Conduct complex analysis in support of Truist strategy including optimization of portfolio strategies and diversification for the Card & Direct to Consumer Lending portfolios. Develop analyses and recommendations to optimize quality, profitability, and growth of Truist\'s payments and lending solutions to improve client experience and return.Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

1. Provide analytical support to Card & Direct to Consumer product lines and subject matter expertise on analysis findings and strategic application within each line. Utilize SAS and Standard Query Language (SQL) programming to extract and mine data for Card & Direct to Consumer lending product lines analyses.  Use Tableau, SAS, or other BI tools to analyze performance and predict future impacts on business performance.

2. Support Card & Direct to Consumer lending portfolio management strategy by compiling profitability, quality, and growth data with a focus towards key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.  Report, measure, and analyze, liaise with internal teammates to translate analytics and decision science findings into strategy implications.

3. Develop a strong understanding of Card & Direct to Consumer economics with focus on revenue optimization through strategic decisions.

4. Work with teammates to identify areas of opportunities and revenue optimization, sift through multiple data sources, and develop a sound analytical framework to present results to business partners.

5. Provide business performance insight and support to external vendors using data analysis; represent Truist professionally with external partners.

6. Analyze market trends to identify external headwinds, internal headwinds, and gaps to the current business model.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor\'s degree in a quantitative or business-related field (e.g. Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Business Management), or equivalent education and related training.

2. 4-7 years of experience in financial services or strategy-focused team.

3. 2+ years of strategy experience including assessment of portfolio valuations, long-term performance, and return.

4. 4+ years of experience with financial analysis or product analysis using tools such as SAS/Tableau.

5. Good understanding of economic principles. Proven ability to apply business insights into strategy assessment to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master\'s degree in a quantitative or business-related field (e.g. Economics, Econometrics, Finance,  Business Management), or equivalent education and related training

2. Prior credit card experience

3. Prior consulting experience with focus on business strategy evaluation

4. Tableau certification or similar
