Digital innovations play a large role in our strategy resulting in the need for straight-through processing. As a payments auditor, you're the extra pair of eyes that checks if the innovation approach in the payments processes is sound. You look at all aspects of the payment processes and applications, including data flows and change projects. Based on your analyses, you make recommendations for improvements to better manage risks within KBC Group. 'Reliability' is our core value. Without reliability, no impact. Therefore we expect you to underpin your advice with data, data and data .quality of the control environment linked to the payment processes, the payment infrastructure and systems. You identify weaknesses and potential risks leading to recommendations for improvements. Upon delivery of those improvements, you are responsible for a timely and thoroughly follow-up. You analyze the deliverables and implementations of major change projects linked to the payments domain in order to become a domain expert. You work together with other auditors (both ICT and business auditors), using the standardized risk-based KBC audit methodology. Your key strengths? You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, eg as a Payment or IT auditor, an Application Manager or Risk Manager. Naturally, you have strong analytical skills. You keep an overview but easily discern relevant details you find in available data. You are not afraid to dive into technical aspects of the audited processes. You are familiar with application controls and have an affinity with IT (no need to be an IT expert though). Just like your colleagues you are always eager to learn and enjoy being challenged intellectually. You're respectfully critical, realistic, pragmatic and assertive. You communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. You just as easily talk to a young starter as to a senior manager. Your communication skills also help you to lead meetings and to get everybody on the same wavelength, even when you and your colleagues have a different opinion. Short periods abroad in one of the core countries of KBC Group are feasible for you (max. one week , a few times a year).What can we offer you?
