Payment Platform Product Owner

Do you want to be a part of an industry leading payments transformation programme? Our Payments team is responsible for enabling customers globally to pay using their preferred payment method, in a safe and secure way, at a cost that is sustainable for British Airways, and we are looking to pioneer transformation within aviation by delivering an industry leading Payment Platform to excel in this.

Reporting into the Payment Platform Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and delivering payments’ strategic and operational value add for BA. You will be the owner of core components of the new platform and will drive the delivery of such, as well as providing SME input for a variety of projects that are ‘in-flight’ across BA.

You will colead the development team that will be designing and delivering our new payment platform including:

• Developing a strategic solution that works across all payment channels from ba.com to travel agents
• Engaging with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure buy-in for the end solution

You will have ownership of a payments backlog and roadmap working with IAG Tech to ensure continuous improvement of existing infrastructure in parallel to the delivery of the new platform. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient individual with a strong network and ability to challenge the status quo, while ensuring buy in and support from across the business. The ability to use in-depth analysis to make informed and data-based decisions is imperative. Proven Payments product experience is essential.
