As a Partner Success Manager focused on AWS’ Education customers, you will have the exciting opportunity to help develop and deliver the strategy to build mind share and adoption of Amazon’s infrastructure web services across AWS’s most strategic customers and business partners who support them.
You will help drive sales execution with AWS partners by teaming with AWS Education Team. This requires building executive and field relationships with partners, customer and the AWS team. You will be responsible for helping driving top line revenue growth in these verticals via partner led and supported opportunities and you will work with partners to source new engagements within these accounts.
You will work with the Partner Development Managers and broader partner teams to identify and engage partners, including key Global and National Systems Integrators, Traditional IT Providers as well as our specialist Born in the Cloud Partners. These partners are focused on a wide range of solution areas including Business Applications, Big Data, IoT, Migration, Managed Services and Digital Transformation.
The ideal candidate will possess both a strong partner manager/sales background that enables them engage at all levels, up to the CXO level, as well as a solid technical sales background that enables them to easily interact with technical leaders within and outside of AWS. He/she should have a strong knowledge of the Education market and the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
· The right person will possess significant Partner management/Sales experience in the UKI.
· Experience of working with UK Education Sector.
· Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.
· Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
· Strong program management skills with a focus on delivering scalable programs supporting hundreds of customers/partners.
· Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
· Degree educated or equivalent
· Experience with the UK Education Sector.
