The Role

The role of a part time Veterinary Surgeon involves consulting and routine operations and procedures. The position is two days a week 9am-5pm in Farnham. Consultations are 15 minutes long with extra time given for more complex cases. The vet is always supported by a fully qualified nurse and we have ultrasound/ full lab and monitoring equipment. Clients are friendly and there is a family feel about the practice. The role is sole charge but there is full support only 15 minutes away at the main practice.

About Us

We are a small animal practice with full Idexx lab, ultrasound machine and monitoring equipment and use of digital x-rays, dental x-rays, tonopen and k-laser. The practice is located in a beautiful part of Surrey with quick connections to London and the South Coast. We are a very supportive practice and we strive to provide the best care for our clients. We have many long standing staff and we support each other with both clinical and surgical cases and share clinical knowledge. We encourage CPD.

Applicant Requirements

Ideally the candidate need to be confident with routine surgical procedures and basic ultrasound and have excellent communication and people skills and enjoy the variety and diversity of small animal practice. We require the candidate to have experience in small animal practice and be able to work up cases to provide a high standard of care.
