Here at Barton Veterinary Hospital & Surgery in Canterbury we have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join are team! We are a RCVS accredited Veterinary Hospital that is fantastically well equipped, including facilities such as CT, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, Ultrasound and Radioiodine treatment suite. We are a progressive first opinion practice that takes referrals in certain disciplines. Our Nursing team is 10 strong, led by our Head Nurse. We all have different interests and skills and are encouraged to pursue these, with rotas being worked around strengths and preferred areas of veterinary nursing. Our Vets also have varying skills and interests meaning we get to see a range of interesting cases and no two days are ever the same!

We are looking for an RVN with a strong interest in surgical nursing to join us part time, working 16-24 hours per week with shifts between the hours of 08:00 and 19:00 and a fair share in the Saturday morning rota. We don't cover our own OOH and we focus heavily on good work life balance within our team. In your new role you will be working alongside Advanced Practitioners in Surgery and Diagnostic Imaging and a Specialist in Cardiology. There is a varied caseload including referrals and first opinion and we are happy to support you through your career development such as certificate support and CPD time.
