Job Description

Job Summary:

The Park Operations Program Manager is a member of the Park Operations Integration team at the iconic Disneyland Resort. You will manage the digital Guest and Cast experience including a wide array of Cast facing technology systems, and the systems that support in-park Guest uses such as Disney Genie+. You will be an interface between the Disney Parks Experiences and Products (DPEP) Technology/Digital Product teams and the local business operating areas who are the end-users of a variety Disney technology solutions. Specifically, you will manage the Experience Access entitlements and inventory associated with expedited attraction entry which includes Lightning Lane/Genie+ inventory, DAS Advance Inventory, Recovery, Special Programs (Club 33, VIP Tours), etc. Additionally you will ensure appropriate levels of access are maintained and audited for all functions in the Cast facing ecosystem of products, and supports documentation and training efforts related to these systems.

You will report to the Manager-Arrival/Guest Relations /Systems

Responsibilities:

  • Be the integrator and liaison of technology solutions, for all Park Operations businesses including Park Arrival, Guest Relations, and Attractions.
  • Manage the Experience Access processes and policies to allow the business to provide expedited attraction entry to Guests who have purchased or otherwise been entitled such access while maintaining an excellent experience for all park Guests.
  • Develop and support overall inventory strategy for the Genie+ and individual purchase Lightning Lane products to balance the operational need with revenue expectations.
  • Lead a team of specialists who analyze inventory, maintain reporting on essential metrics, and act as system administrators for Park Operations Cast facing systems.
  • Build relationships with all operating leaders as the subject matter expert in systems that affect the Cast and Guest experience as it relates to Park Operations.
  • Support the rollout of new digital products and enhancements for our Guests and Cast (i.e. Genie+).
  • Communicate with and report out to attraction Production Managers frequently regarding program goals, and future adjustments.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to Points of Contact (POCs) in the operating areas.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in operations related fields
  • 3+ years of experience in a professional leadership role
  • Technical skills to use a variety of technology and systems in technology-based projects
  • Problem- solving abilities with an initiative to identify areas for improvement and prioritize implementation
  • Skills to partner with and influence leaders across the Disneyland Resort
  • Passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion, including inviting diverse perspectives, promoting an inclusive work environment and supporting workforce diversity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Genie+ and Lightning Lane
  • Experience with previous attractions expedited access products such as FASTPASS and MaxPass
  • Experience developing training materials or documentation for large-scale programs
  • Leadership experience in multiple lines of business in Park Operations

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree (e.g., B.S. / B.A.) or equivalent practical experience.
