The Paralegal - MP Docketing is responsible for handling docketing and document management functions related to Marketing Properties (MP) matters. The Paralegal - MP Docketing handles docketing of inbound, outbound and internal communications and proactively ensures that all final deadlines are met. The Paralegal - MP Docketing is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of trademark prosecution, enforcement and renewal process worldwide and be competent in the docketing of all related prosecution, renewal and enforcement actions.

What are we looking for?

• The Paralegal - MP Docketing must be a sophisticated trademark paralegal with:
• (1) a background in trademark docketing and non-patent IP related database and systems management;
• (2) solid judgment working in a team environment; and
• (3) the ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Works to accurately record and file MP data for all MP matters, relating to:
  - Trademark, design and trade dress prosecution
  - Copyright registration
  - Opposition and cancellation actions
  - Disputes, including cease and desists, lookalikes and counterfeits
  - Litigation
  - Renewals
  - Agreements
  - Key business communications and all other related MP Practice data
• Ensures the integrity of the trademark prosecution database by performing quality reviews of docketed actions, by creating new records and updating new actions in a timely manner, and by entering, monitoring and clearing deadlines in a timely manner
• Assists in providing necessary standard and custom MP data reports for MP team needs
• Assists with projects as needed
