This job feed the innovation pipeline. Industrialization Engineer allows the global development and deployment of innovation, in term of technology solution, in every market ensuring the conformity of new packs to key quality attributes. Industrialization Engineer is accountable of new pack industrialization from development phase to pack qualification after launch (handover 2). He / she collaborates every day with R&D, country leadership teams and people from factories, especially PPI engineer.
This role supports the Americas supply network with our factories in USA, Canada, Brazil and Argentina.
Pack / Engineering scientist. Master degree.
More than 5 years of work experience in leading and executing packaging projects
Manufacturing knowledge
Knowledge of packaging materials, packaging equipment and packaging systems
English is fluent
Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with all areas of the business.
Support packaging design and suppliers’ validation for our sustainability strategy.
Drive deployment of new pack solutions from trials to handover in plants.
Lead specification deployment for new packaging incl. pack design, case design, pallet configuration from global to local, ensuring consistent deployment of R&D practice, policies and projects.
Provide guidance and technical support to local Pack PPI engineer (Product Process Implementation). Coordinate PPI pack activity in plants related to innovation.
Finalize / customize existing innovation process for specific pack activities.
Provide technical support to R&D and VCO teams to improve quality and efficiency, cost reduction (DIB) and our environmental footprint (Sustainability)
Push expertise / tools for problem solving, best practices and knowledge transfer to multi-sites with harmonization objective.
Participate to new equipment validation with Engineering and IE teams
Close collaboration with relevant global and regional stakeholders as Develop, Deploy, QFS, Marketing, Supply, Factories, IE, Engineering, Commercial at Royal Canin and other global and regional external stakeholders R&D Mars Petcare.
