As a part of the Finance Operations and the Global Delivery Centre teams, the P2P UK Operations lead will work with the P2P Global Process Owner & Delivery lead, the Global Delivery Centre (P2P Ops Manager) and the business to model and implement new and continuously improve existing business processes.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • With the support of the P2P Ops Lead, develop and maintain accurate accounting and operational procedures / Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

  • Support the P2P Ops lead on ensuring a high-quality compliance and control environment through effective review, monitoring and control of all P2P processing activities including purchase orders, invoices, payables forecasting, payments, reconciliations, etc.

  • Work on process, standardization, automation, and simplification of the Invoice to Pay activities and support the P2P SMEs on the remaining P2P activities when required

  • Work co-operatively and maintain effective relationships with others, internally and externally including and not limited to Group Procurement, Global Delivery Centre team, PLC Finance, Tech Solutions, Group Internal Audit and all divisions

  • The UK Operations Lead builds relationships with and acts as a key resource and escalation point for internal and external customers

  • Work with the offshore team to share the training materials to ensure compliance with the business travel & expense policies, as well as managing travel & expenses through Concur

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience leading a small team, dealing with escalations and participating in global projects in P2P

  • Experience working within a finance related field

  • Working experience within a project team

  • Working in a global environment – supporting teams in different locations

  • Experience in Travel management and Accounts Payable related processes and well-established network to stakeholders within those areas
