Join us and you'll become part of a team, that works together to provide the best customer experience. That means hot food in a clean and friendly restaurant. As an Overnight Crew Member, you will be aiding this by ensuring that we can provide a clean environment for our staff to work in and our customers to dine in. The Overnight Crew do not serve customers between 12midnight and 6am and are therefore fully focussed on the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant and its equipment.
A franchised restaurant is a restaurant operated by a local business person trading under the McDonald's name. Currently over 80% of our restaurants in the UK are franchised but from a customer point of view there's no difference. For employees there will be minor differences between a company and a franchised restaurant. Please refer to additional information for more details.
As we are not open throughout the night the overnight role is mainly cleaning, and getting the restaurant's detailed cleaning tasks completed. The over night crew are expected to clean equipment to a high standard and get the restaurant set up for the next day.
In order to comply with UK working time regulations, you must be over the age of 18 to work between the hours of midnight and 6am.
During the hours of midnight and 6am, we pay a premium rate of an additional £1.50 per hour on top of the rates advertised.
For this role, we are looking for people who have extremely high standards for cleanliness. These must be people who take pride in their work, and look to achieve the best possible outcome of any task that they complete. You should be hard working, and able to stick to a time limit to complete tasks, as well as doing them to a detailed high standard.
