About the Outbound Sales Development Representative:
MarketStar is looking for Sales rock stars to represent our newest world-class technology enabling businesses to transform communications, culture, and workflows for customer engagement. Your responsibility will be to create solid lead opportunities through your self-prospecting efforts leading to new customer acquisition. Your role will be to engage with prospects, help them understand the value of the platform, and move them forward in the sales process by providing qualified leads to internal sales teams. You will be partnered with seasoned Account Executives as you work together to develop and close new business in the Northern American and Northern Europe.
Location: MarketStar’s office is based at 1 Central Park, Block G, 2nd Floor, Leopardstown, Dublin 18. MarketStar, in collaboration with their clients, supports work from home, hybrid, and in-office positions within the Republic of Ireland. Employee work location is determined through client needs, IT requirements, and business needs and is communicated by the employee manager.
What will you do?
Adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
Experience self-prospecting leads and building your own pipeline
Achieve established sales goals and objectives
Research and develop prospective accounts in an account base
Serve as product and service advocate for the client building interest and awareness of client’s value proposition and assess mutual fit
Learn quickly and maintain a current, comprehensive knowledge of client’s products and services
Champion our success stories and share with targeted companies in interesting industries and territories.
Identification, growth, and nurture of new net new customers for the client
Partner with Marketing to identify key market segments, trends and effective strategies and messaging.
Facilitate the onboarding of clients with less complex requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
0.5 - 2 years of Business Development or Lead Generation experience (SaaS experience preferable).
Native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English
Strong sales aptitude skills, solutions oriented with a passion for the customer and the customer experience
High confidence and ability to quickly build trust within the first call, with strong soft skills to drive impact on the spot
Exceptional listening skills combined with the ability to synthesize information
Strong organization and time management coupled with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
High attention to detail and proactive attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication
Tech savvy with a passion for technology and the ability to learn, comprehend, and explain technology
Highly ambitious individual with the natural appetite to find and win new business and a keen interest to develop a career in sales
Thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
