Role purpose

As part of the OSS Operations Team, your aim is to ensure the team comply against security and vulnerability standards across our systems. The team has operational responsibility for approximately 300 OSS Services.

Responsibilities

•    Implement controls for TSR, CSB, SOX, CAS-T, ISO27001, GDPR and other security standards as the business requires. Continually drive improvement against these.
•    Ensure that security requests are registered and actioned on all appropriate systems and all associated updates are responded to and maintained, accurately and efficiently 
•    Identify process improvement/coaching opportunities
•    Accountable for overseeing the management of the security and vulnerability process supported by the OSS operations managers by the facilitation of regular updates from the respective champions/stakeholders.
•    Define and implement operational process improvements including managing of the team’s operational, performance and compliance dashboard.

SC Clearance or eligible to apply is a MUST. 5 Years minimal within the UK.

•    Technical aptitude and quick learner.
•    The ability to handle difficult or stressful conversations with stakeholders and external auditors to represent Vodafone.
•    Evidence of establishing professional working relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders, operating with confidence and strength especially under pressure
•    Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to interpret both technical & non-technical information and competently articulate this to stakeholders.
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.

Desirable 

•    Linux/Windows System Administration skills
•    Experience with supporting (from 2nd line to 3rd line level) OSS applications.
•    Exposure to ITIL methodologies
•    Experience with working within an ISO accreditation environment
