Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is part of the Global HR Operations Organizational Management team. Organization Management is responsible for governing the organizational architecture and infrastructure for The Walt Disney Company’s headcount administration and employee statuses. This position is responsible for providing a broad range of operational and project support for the HR systems of record, SAP and Workday. Responsibilities may include managing the core structure, client engagement, data validation, testing, training, and other project and integration related assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supervisory hierarchy (relationships, headcount, reporting elements, etc).
  • Drive process and integration in SAP and Workday in support of key Company initiatives
  • Perform occasional testing of SAP and Workday business processes
  • Define business requirements to enable solution definition
  • Develop future state design and recommendations for the implementation of processes, business rules, and tools
  • Assist with the development and/or delivery of end user training
  • Support project management activities such as task management, status reports and stakeholder management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Workday or SAP
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adjust to change in a positive, productive manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and partners
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, operate under general direction, and perform duties with broad latitude for judgment
  • Ability to balance and respond to competing priorities
  • Proven strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a natural curiosity to understand the business process
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ownership of tasks and deliverables
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior HR or Workforce Management experience
  • Prior experience with testing system enhancements
  • Prior experience with data integrations and/or data conversions
  • Prior experience developing future state recommendations
  • Prior experience delivering end user training
