Job Description

Job Purpose and Impact

The Organizational Development Consultant will assist with all aspects of organizational design. We seek a professional to partner with other organizational design professionals providing project support and consultation in all areas of organizational design, change management, culture, leadership/team effectiveness, and support for other strategic initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate to facilitate developing change management and organizational improvement including programs, tools, solutions to increase individual and organization capability, organizational redesign and process reengineering.

  • Diagnose, propose, design and deliver organization development solutions that help Cargill create a talent-based competitive advantage.

  • Work on start to finish organizational design projects to create new business functions; creating and validating design principles that include organizational structure, effective services delivery, delivery processes and process flows.

  • Champion a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure deployment of scalable, simplified and standardized processes.

  • Coach and train managers on developing effective team and leadership skills and development to enhance their capabilities and to increase productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare and conduct training programs, teach classes, hold seminars and discussion groups.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Business Acumen

  • Analytical/Assessment skills

  • Coaching and mentoring skills

  • Executive presence and ability to communicate to all level in the organization

  • Experience working on innovation based projects

  • Experience working on project based, client servicing consulting.

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Human Resources Certificate

  • Certification in an approved methodology in change management or design

  • Minimum of eight years of change management and/or organizational design experience

  • Big 4 consulting experience
