Organizational Design Manager
This is a full time, exempt position

Position Summary:
As a member of ADM’s Global Organization Transformation team, the Organizational Design Manager is responsible for leading the organizational design workstream for a large, enterprise organizational transformation. The role requires the ability to demonstrate strong relationship building, interpersonal and influential skills, be able to flex from strategic to tactical work. This role will report to the HR Lead, Organization Transformation. This position will be an individual contributor with the opportunity to have direct reports in the future.

Our North American headquarters is located in Decatur, IL; however, this role can be remote (Midwest candidates preferred). Business travel to Decatur, IL; Chicago, IL or Erlanger, KY will be required.


Main Responsibilities:

• Plans, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates organizational design effectiveness, change management initiatives, processes, and interventions, and provides direction, advice, and counsel to all levels of directors, managers and employees.
• Partners with various functional/department leaders to identify organizational and talent design needs, and works collaboratively to support continuous organizational effectiveness.
• Drive the development of working session materials and facilitating meetings to design future state organizational structures with clearly defined functions, roles and responsibilities, governance.
• Studies organizational structures, business and operating procedures, reporting relationships, and team interactions.
• Partners with team’s HR analyst to determine capacity and workload of people within the organization

Key skills required:

• Experience with organizational design, change management and implementation of new organizational structures
• Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Experience working within a matrix organization with multiple functions (operations, commercial, finance, procurement, etc.)
• Interaction with senior leaders and able to effectively facilitate clients, speak with confidence and manage multiple client priorities.
• Strong business acumen within various functions (operations, corporate functions, etc.)

Experience:

• 8+ years’ experience in Human Resources with a focus on Organizational Design. Global, large scale transformation experience is preferred. 

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organization Development/Psychology or Business Administration

Preferred Education:

• HR Certification (SHRM, PHR, SPHR)
