You will be working with a hands on approach and in conjunction with the Lead Solution Architect, to design and implement Oracle products, the Oracle eBusiness Technical Consultants will be supporting a variety of clients with their strategy, technical design, user experience, software development and delivery into live service as part of either bespoke deliveries or large transformation projects.

Job Description:

Help us strengthen our team as 'Oracle EBS Apps DBA' with Capita Software.

Location - Remote - Home -Based with travel to other Capita sites as and when required.

You will be responsible for delivery of new solutions and upgraded solutions on within the Oracle platform and application releases (R12 and Cloud) including full project lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Take sole responsibility as the technical lead of Oracle eBusiness Suite implementation and upgrade projects.
  • Facilitate workshops to develop business requirements; create demonstrations to provide proof of concept; plan and assist the team in drafting statements of work to include estimation of effort/cost.
  • Provide input and advice regarding Oracle eBusiness Suite capabilities, functions and features to clients and prospects.
  • Conduct hands-on installation, implementation, and configuration, of the various components the Oracle eBusiness Suite platform
  • Conduct hands-on installation, implementation, and configuration of Oracle RDBMS including Exadata on Oracle Cloud
  • Hands on experience with cloning, eBusiness Suite, BI and Hyperion.

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience as an Oracle eBusiness Technical Consultant
  • Experience leading or being involved in technical delivery for upgrades,  implementations, and re-implementations.
  • Installed, configured, documented and managed Oracle 12c RAC database (RDBMS) with E-Business Suite version 12.1.3
  • Installed, upgraded, documented and patched Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.1.3
  • Created and managed Oracle databases on Exadata
  • Knowledge of end to end Cloud Sass projects involving integration
  • Documented and proven experience of End-to-end R12 Upgrade/Implementation project experiences as a Technical Consultant.
  • Oracle certifications or accreditation are desirable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Oracle eBusiness Suite functional areas including, Order Management, Logistics, Procurement, Projects, Manufacturing, Asset Lifecycle Management, Service, Financials and Human Capital Management relating to out-of-the-box functionality and limits.
  • Understanding and experience in Configurations/Customisations, Extensions, Modifications, Localisations, Interfaces (CEMLIs).
  • Tuned oracle database queries using partitioning, compression, and Materialized views.
  • Implementation of Oracle eBusiness Suite or alternative products in a Healthcare environment is advantageous.
  • Hands on experience with cloning, eBusiness Suite, BI and Hyperion.
  • Desirable -Knowledge and understanding of the following: Microsoft Active Directory, Clustering principles and technologies, Intalio and Mulesoft Middleware, Workflow Mail, RAC, RMAN, OAM, OEM and Discoverer
  • Practical experience gained on Oracle eBusiness Suite implementations, migrations and/or integration projects.
