Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivery of new solutions and upgraded solutions on within the Oracle platform and application releases (R12 and Cloud) including full project lifecycle.
  • Take sole responsibility as the technical lead of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) implementation and upgrade projects

  • Facilitate workshops to develop business requirements; create demonstrations to provide proof of concept; plan and assist the team in drafting statements of work to include estimation of effort/cost.
  • Provide input and advice regarding Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition capabilities, functions and features to clients and prospects.
  • Conduct hands-on installation, implementation, and configuration, of the various components the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition platform
  • Conduct hands-on installation, implementation, and configuration of Oracle RDBMS including Exadata on Oracle Cloud
  • Build positive client relationships by developing an understanding of the client’s business processes.
  • Develop analytical and insightful recommendations to meet deliverable targets, and complete project tasks within budget and to customer satisfaction.
  • Perform requirements gathering, Business Process Analysis.
  • Understand customer requirements and advise project team on highly specialized, complex solutions architecture and implementation.
  • Participate as the technical expert in proposal development and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Deliver presentations to all levels of management.
  • Adapt to different end-user learning styles when training, gathering requirements, etc.
  • Create documentation for clients, including PowerPoint presentations and Visio workflows regarding functional and technical requirements, design, training, process engineering, etc.
  • Keep abreast of any new releases of the application software maximising software solution value for the client
  • Use Oracle Business Intelligence Tools to develop and publish reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools to assist various business functions in decision support and measurement.
  • Work closely with other business users to translate business requirements into technical design documents and build reports and dashboards within the Oracle application

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in leading or being involved in technical delivery for upgrades to Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
  • Installed, configured, documented and managed Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 12c
  • Installed, configured, documented and managed Informatica 9.x and 10.x
  • Created and managed Oracle databases on Exadata
  • Experience in OBIEE Administration Tool, OBIEE Answers, OBIEE Interactive Dashboards, BI Publisher
  • Strong SQL skills with a focus on writing optimized SQL queries
  • Experience working with Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM, HCM, EPM
  • Experience with OBIEE architecture including WebLogic
  • Oracle certifications or accreditation are desirable. 

Desirable

  • Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) tables
  • Experience with Hyperion desired
  • Implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence or alternative products in a Healthcare environment is advantageous.
