Job Description
Compensation:
- Starting pay up to $20.12 per hour + $0.60 Attendance Bonus!
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
- Regular attendance to ensure production requirements are met
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English
- Ability to complete work/purchase requests into the maintenance tracking and performance computer system
- Knowledge of planned maintenance including drumbeats, MTBF, and root cause problem solving
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Good communication skills
- Must be well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work individually as well as with others as a team
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of spreadsheets
- Basic math skills
- Good safety record and complete all necessary trainings.
- Complete required BOS Audits.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Job Duties:
- Verify product for start-up (e.g., product codes, weights, etc.)
- Ensure equipment is ready for start-up/changeovers performing pre-start checks
- Visually inspect equipment to ensure it is operating according to standards making adjustments as necessary
- Complete centerline inspections to identify defects
- Grease seals and bearings, clean, inspect, and replace belts as needed
- Assist mechanics with minor repairs, replacements, and modifications to equipment as needed
- Assist mechanics with Planned Maintenance (PM) as necessary
- Teardown equipment for changeover/sanitation
- Complete daily paperwork (e.g., centerline reports, scale audits, PM/AM sheets, etc.)
- Keep work area free from debris to maintain a safe and efficient production process
- Participate in production line drumbeats as required
- General housekeeping (e.g., sweeping, wiping down guards, removal of contaminants, etc.)
- May perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Knowledge of GMP’s
- Ability to be LOTO certified
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year maintenance or related experience preferred.
