Job Description

Compensation:

• Starting pay up to $20.12 per hour + $0.60 Attendance Bonus!
   

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
• Regular attendance to ensure production requirements are met
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English
• Ability to complete work/purchase requests into the maintenance tracking and performance computer system
• Knowledge of planned maintenance including drumbeats, MTBF, and root cause problem solving
• Knowledge of basic hand tools
• Good communication skills
• Must be well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work individually as well as with others as a team
• Basic computer skills including knowledge of spreadsheets
• Basic math skills
• Good safety record and complete all necessary trainings.
• Complete required BOS Audits.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

Job Duties:

• Verify product for start-up (e.g., product codes, weights, etc.)
• Ensure equipment is ready for start-up/changeovers performing pre-start checks
• Visually inspect equipment to ensure it is operating according to standards making adjustments as necessary
• Complete centerline inspections to identify defects
• Grease seals and bearings, clean, inspect, and replace belts as needed
• Assist mechanics with minor repairs, replacements, and modifications to equipment as needed
• Assist mechanics with Planned Maintenance (PM) as necessary
• Teardown equipment for changeover/sanitation
• Complete daily paperwork (e.g., centerline reports, scale audits, PM/AM sheets, etc.)
• Keep work area free from debris to maintain a safe and efficient production process
• Participate in production line drumbeats as required
• General housekeeping (e.g., sweeping, wiping down guards, removal of contaminants, etc.)
• May perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to solve problems independently 
• Knowledge of GMP’s
• Ability to be LOTO certified
   

Qualifications:

Education:  High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Required:  Minimum 1 year maintenance or related experience preferred.
