Operator – Des Moines, IA
This is a full time, hourly position.
ADM Animal Nutrition

Openings at our Des Moines, IA facility for Operators.­ Loading and unloading van trailers using forklift. Samples product, picks orders/builds pallets and general housekeeping.
­
Physical Demands

• Must be on feet/forklift 8 hours/day, less break and lunch times. Work is 95% indoors on cement floor.
• Is exposed to dust & humidity.
• Turret lift works at height up to 20 feet.
• 70% of time is spent operating a fork lift.
• 15% of time spent lifting up to 55 lb bags.
• 10% of time is spent completing paperwork.
• 5% of time spent housekeeping.
• Workweek currently is 40 hours with 50 hour weeks common.

Job Requirements:

• Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
• Requirements for this position include a High School diploma or GED preferred
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Driving a forklift
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Strong safety and math aptitude
• Ability to lift and carry up to­ 60 lbs on a regular basis
