Job Description:
Key Accountabilities
- Work closely with other Operations Trainers and key stakeholders to design and deliver structured L&D interventions to new and existing PCSE staff in a learner focussed way, to meet contract specific requirements and increase effectiveness based upon operational needs
- Ensure own knowledge of the business, best practice and training materials are kept up to date within own areas of expertise and reviewed regularly
- Demonstrate clearly their ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training designed and delivered
- Take responsibility for the training records of sessions they deliver
- Document and maintain training materials for all relevant training interventions and ensure up to date resources are signed off, version controlled and stored on the LMS
- Interact effectively at all levels of the organisation, ensuring all stakeholders are managed, engaged and communicated with as appropriate
- Report to the Training Consultant or Head of Non-clinical Learning & Development in their absence, complete all work within the Capita PCSE Service Level Agreements as defined within the PCSE contract and adhere to all quality standards, whilst always setting an example of excellence in practice
Qualifications and Experience
- Have technical knowledge of PCSE processes & systems and demonstrable an ability to maintain technical knowledge
- Experience of designing and delivering L&D interventions and solutions including digital learning solutions e.g. Articulate
- Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
- Ability to be proactive, use own initiative and be flexible
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Ability to manage stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Developed IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g. Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and ‘right first time’ approach
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with clearly defined performance standards
This role will be a Fixed Term Contract running up until 30th April 2022.
