The Operations Support Manager is responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement/ repair parts and new build equipment as part of a Services agreement or order. Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes within multiple shop structures. Includes craft & non craft labor as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities.

As an Operations Support Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy
  • Leading and assisting in daily operations within multiple shops and areas around the facility.
  • Developing, coordinating, leading, and executing daily production plans and coordinate consistent and effective shift-to-shift transition
  • Developing and implementing process controls
  • Supporting operations leader in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resources for multiple shops and delivery lines of business.
  • Developing a year plan for all departments and areas of the facility.
  • Discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working
  • Contributing to plan of larger unit
  • Communicating across direct organization
  • Presenting to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy
  • Following frameworks to get through the processes

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED)
  • Have 4+ years of experience in Services
  • Have 3+ additional years of experience in General Operations Support
  • Have Good interpersonal and leadership skills
