Put the entertainment into shopping at M&M’s World NYC. Our Operations Manager is responsible for creating an exceptional, fun experience for our Guests. The primary focus is managing a team of Associates to deliver operational commitments while providing them with great Line Management. Ensuring excellence throughout the store, the role is responsible for inventory, replenishment, operational policies, procedures, and all food safety requirements; as well as training Backstage Associates to tempt and delight Guests with an exciting and interactive ‘shoppertainment’ environment.
M&M’s BRAND AMBASSADOR and PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:
· Display a "Guest comes first" attitude by prioritizing training and making Associates accountable for delivering an unforgettable service
· Be a positive role model, displaying an effective Manager on Duty, to ensure the achievement of all sales objectives and goals
· Work together with Visual support to ensure the accurate roll out of floor changes and that all products are available for our Guests
CUSTOMER FOCUS:
· Display the ability to work in a cross-functional capacity within Mars and outside Mars i.e. with vendors
· Ensure all areas are neat, clean and organized, and filled to the correct capacity and that all styles and sizes are represented
· Hold the team accountable to partner with merchandizers for product replenishment requests
Lead a team of Associates to ensure all candy orders are processed promptly, in line with Mars Standards
RESPONSIBILITY FOR BUSINESS RESULTS:
· Play an active part in the reduction of all candy and merchandise waste across all areas of the store
· Oversee weekly, periodical and annual physical inventory audits and understand the financial impact to the business
· Demonstrate an understanding of retail metrics; celebrate success and make suggestions for the improvement of operations in the store
· Ensure standard operating procedures are being followed and consistently look for ways to drive efficiencies
FRIENDSHIP and COLLABORATION:
· Manage a group of assigned Associates, including Supervisors, ensuring clear expectations are communicated and accountability is applied
· Establish a rapport and build relationships with Management to ensure healthy collaboration
PUNCTUALITY and INTEGRITY:
· Comply with all company policies and procedures including food handling guidelines, quality, loss prevention, and safety/emergency procedures
· Exemplify The Five Principles and The Associate Concept
· Act as a lead for the Quality Committee
INITIATIVE and JUDGEMENT:
· Ensure inventory and cycle counts are adhered to and done promptly
· Take the lead on coordinating, ordering and the storage of products and adhere to stock processing standards
· Ensure candy production goals are met daily

· College degree
Key Experiences
· Experience in a retail location, with an emphasis on inventory flow and control
· Previous warehouse experience preferred
· Minimum 2 years in retail management
