The Operations Lead is a key support position within the Med-eScreen construction team. This role aligns with the Manager Regional Operations to successfully administer and support onsite medical services to construction clients. This position has significant experience in advanced first aid protocols and a subject matter expert in Med-eScreen processes. CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN ASSIGNED REGION.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Experienced pre-hospital provider for an assigned regional territory
- Assist Manager Regional Operations with on-site medical/safety personnel and project operations
- Regular project onsite evaluations and client relations
- As Team Lead and SME for assigned territory, this individual is integral to the onboarding process for new medical staff to include: interview, training, development as well as re-training for low performers
- Always “on call†for any project concerns (to include, but not limited to, medic calls about procedures or injuries, client calls/emails, scheduling conflicts, etc.)
- Responding to calls for assistance
- In conjunction with Manager Regional Operations, administration of first aid and level-appropriate care according to State, Local and National guidelines
- Proper assessment of injuries and the coordination for appropriate transportation to medical facilities
- Effective communication with Safety Managers, EMS Personnel and Medical Facility Staff
- Assisting site Safety Personnel with safety related duties and inspections
- Detailed documentation of medical and safety related incidents
- Coordination with Safety Managers in maintaining the most safe and secure construction site environment
- Daily administration of site required drug and alcohol testing program
- Communication to client risk management/case management teams for insurance worker compensation claims
- Ensure medical staff submit injury reports in compliance with protocols
- Assist onsite client project teams with documentation and paperwork for all incidents
- Meeting, schedule, and setup new projects within assigned territory
- Foster the relationship between onsite medic, project team and occupational health clinic, to include: MD relations, case management expectations and light duty protocols, etc.
- Coordinate and manage the site Emergency Evacuation Plan
- Coordinate monthly educational and wellness events, such as: American Heart Month, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Diabetes Awareness Month, The Great American Smoke Out, etc.
- Additional duties as directed by Med-eScreen management or client
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
REQUIRED
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years active EMS experience including management/supervisor role
PREFERRED
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- EMT/Paramedic • OSHA 30; STSC or CHTS preferred • CPR & First Aid Instructor preferred
- Travel within designated territory, up to 50%
- Experience in construction, OSHA, or worker’s compensation a plus
- Spanish a plus
