The Finance Analyst will support delivery of core Ops finance processes, which includes quarterly Budgeting and financial planning, monthly Business Reviews & Reporting and Key P&L line reporting.

The Finance Analyst will support delivery of core Ops finance processes, which includes quarterly Budgeting and financial planning, monthly Business Reviews & Reporting and Key P&L line reporting, e.g. Consumables, F&B Waste, Laundry, GNG, Overheads. The successful candidate with all work closely with Business Partners on bespoke project activity for Operating Directors and Regional Operating Managers.

Inside the Role

The key requirements of this role include:

Region and site level weekly/monthly performance reporting

Insight on underlying drivers of site level performance

Support Finance manager by Business Partnering with Regional Operating Managers (ROMs) as necessary to assist them and their Hotel Managers (HMs) and General Managers (GMs) understand and drive financial performance

Support financial control over key operational initiatives and investments e.g. tracking of costs and benefits

Support weekly tracking of planned costs of relevant operational cost lines vs target, vs. prior year and to identify and understand underlying trends

Manage discretionary overheads costs for UK Operations

You will have the ability to analyse complex information

Have knowledge of Microsoft Office functions, particularly Excel

Be able to work independently or as part of a team

Be highly numerate with excellent analytical skills

Have the ability to show strong commercial judgements and directly influencing action / results
