The Operations and Sales Director (Western Region) manages the Downstream Chemicals service delivery for the assigned region and portfolio of products and services.  Ensures that Baker Hughes maximizes short- and long-term revenue, profit and cash collection opportunities by enabling flawless execution, on time delivery, contract adherence for the assigned region. This position will report to the NAR Downstream Chemicals Leader.
 

As a Operations and Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Ensuring all activities are carried out according to our non-negotiables and our cultural pillars
  • Owning profit growth to meet defined region profit increase goals by developing and executing a regional plan to maximize revenue and operating income
  • Collaborating with sales/commercial teams as well as direct interaction with customers for assigned area to understand the activity forecast (volume and complexity)
  • Ensuring flawless execution and on-time delivery by assigning appropriate resources in line with volume and complexity of forecasted activity and ensuring Quality plans are in line with our job cycle process
  • Generating sales forecasts and accurately predict revenue on a monthly basis while driving growth in new accounts to support revenue objectives
  • Constructing business plans incorporating essential market drivers and all obtainable analytics, while monitoring and adjusting plan according to shifts, emerging conditions, and threats to the business
  • Demonstrating leadership by championing corporate initiatives, and by planning and leading regional meetings
  • Providing continuous coaching and development to team of district managers to create and maintain value in the downstream segment.  Act quickly to address service delivery performance deficiencies

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Bachelor\'s Degree or demonstrate relevant industry experience
  • Have 5 years of Chemical operations experience within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Have a proven track-record of growing a business and delivering profitable results
  • Have demonstrated ability to effectively influence and establish credibility with senior leaders
  • Have sound commercial understanding of P&L, balance sheet, commercial and contractual language
  • Have the ability to travel as required to support the region
  • Be able to travel regionally up to 25% of your time
