Partner with the best

HSE Specialist to support the SPS and Services businesses within the Houston region. In this role, the candidate will utilize experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, build effective partnerships and possess the ability to affect the site’s and field services team’s short-term and long-term HSE goals.

As an Operational Specialist EHS , you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for supporting SPS and Services Operations within the Houston region.
• Collaborating with SPS and Services teams to develop, improve, and implement HSE programs and procedures to ensure they align with all Baker Hughes programs and initiatives, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Working closely with field service operations to manage any HSE issues that may arise during activities at customer sites
• Acting as technical advisor to management, operations, employees, and other functional groups to facilitate continual HSE improvements.
• Driving an interdependent safety culture where employees look after each other and are responsible for health, safety, and environmental practices and conditions.
• Driving HSE performance metrics and risk mitigation improvements across field services and site operations.
• Driving a first in class HSE culture.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety).
• Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Services and Projects.
• Health and Safety experience in a manufacturing and/or services environment
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
