What’s the role about?
This is a fantastic and broad role to own and drive the online performance and customer experience of a Product category in our Fashion or Technology areas.
We are looking for a proven leader with strong commercial acumen who is customer focused, has proven experience of operating in a digital trading environment and who excels at analysing and interpreting big data sets to translate that into key insight and actions. We want you to use your eCommerce knowledge to influence the strategic direction of your online area working with key stakeholders and delivering results through coaching and developing your Team. We’re looking for someone to bring energy, pace and new insights to supplement our current online team.
We are currently recruiting for a 10 month fixed term role (internally this is known as a secondment).
What will you be doing?
You will lead and develop your online trading team for a specific assortment area and influence stakeholders to deliver its commercial performance via the optimisation of on-site customer journeys for maximum financial return and improved customer satisfaction.
You will use your functional knowledge to influence the strategic direction of your online area with key stakeholders, marrying site performance data with sku performance data to provide insight that supports improved decision making across Trading and Customer teams.
You will use your commercial acumen and customer centricity to maximise sales and profit for your area, using data to drive customer satisfaction and site metric optimisation (conversion, traffic and average order value (AOV)) with stakeholder teams across Product, Marketing, Content, Buying & Merchandising.
What you'll have
Online commercial experience - understands how to influence conversion, traffic and AOV through multiple digital and trading functions.
Highly numerate and strong data-analysis orientation. Comfortable with interpreting complex data from multiple sources to provide clear recommendations
Strong commercial acumen

This role is based at our Victoria Head Office in London. It will require working in the office and times when you will work from home. If you are offered one of our roles you can discuss with your People Manager when you will be needed to work in the office.
