Due to continuing expansion at Pavers, we have an exciting opportunity for 2 full time (part time considered) Online Merchandisers to join our Merchandising department in our York Head Office. We offer hybrid working, including flexible start and end times to the working day and the option for work from home 1 day per week(once induction is completed). We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly team who have a keen interest in retail, merchandising and a passion for product, previous online merchandising experience is desirable but not essential. You’ll need to be commercially aware and enjoy working with the numeric stocks and sales data (and MS Excel) with the ability to collate and analyse, to allocate stock effectively to meet company sales targets and KPI’s.

Key responsibilities of our Online Merchandiser:

• Working with our trading & ecommerce marketeers to maximise product performance across all channels
• Utilising the stock package to ensure the balance is correct to support sales across online trading channels
• Updating our ecommerce marketeers with product analysis and support
• Liaising with Buyers to build range plans in order to support your online channels
• Range planning of products for specific online trading periods (Black Friday, Xmas etc)
• Analysis of required volumes and delivery dates for in season and continuity products
• Feedback to trading team monthly on online product successes and opportunities to grow

Skills & Experience required to be our Online Merchandiser:

• Ideally have experience as a Merchandiser or Assistant Merchandiser and/or thorough knowledge of the online sector
• Experience of working with numeric information (e.g. sales patterns and forecasts) with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload
• Ability to work flexibly and multi-task whilst managing time excellently
• Enjoys working as part of a team and always happy to help
• Ability to make decisions and use own initiative
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude with willingness to go the extra mile
• Educated to A Level or equivalent (ideally business/maths/IT related)
• GCSE maths (grade B or above)
• Computer literate and confident/enjoys working at a PC
