The Online Business Manager (OBM) owns the online / eCommerce relationship for a specific sales segment or teams within a specific sales segment. The OBM interacts directly with sales teams, sales leadership, product managers and cross functional marketing teams to drive the Online product portfolio. OBMs are responsible for driving sales enablement programs in North America, as well as working directly with customers to create and execute an online shopping and buying solution from end to end. The OBM role is a highly visible role which requires experience in executive presentation skills, communication skills, project management, tactical and strategic agility and dealing with ambiguity.
You will:
Solution-based consulting, requiring an extensive knowledge of all online solutions, as well as an understanding of how the online solutions map to customers’ business process needs
Advise Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives through technical expertise and market positioning of the Dell’s Commercial Online Capabilities
Engage with sales leadership to develop professional relationships
Meet with customers in partnership with sales teams
Consult with sales teams to solution and position strategic opportunities for online growth
Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Segment Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, Client Technologists, Product Line Managers, & Global Operations
Derive and disseminate relevant insights from data analytics
Support opportunities for large bid/RFP Online solutions
Coordinate, plan and deliver Online training activities to inside and field sales
Responsible for measuring financial impact of assigned programs and implementing improvement and stabilization plans if programs are not meeting forecasted results.

Essential Requirements
5 to 10 years of experience as a technology field marketing specialist with an outstanding history of success
Experience working with sophisticated and multiple technologies across a range of industries
Strong analytical and research abilities with a constant curiosity for learning within a fast-paced, evolving environment
Excellent communication skills - ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Creative thinking – ability to look for new ways to drive online adoption both internally and externally
Ability to analyze data (excel, Power BI etc.) and identify issues/root causes
Effectively handle multiple ad-hoc requests/projects
Ability to prioritize work based upon business need and urgency
Strong knowledge of the Dell product lines
