Partner with the best

Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies. Assist in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment. Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation. Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical trouble shooting techniques. Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence. Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.

As a Well Planner, you will be responsible for: 

• Well plans for both direction and horizontal wells.
• Ability to verify and validate data for well design.
• Offset well analysis.
• Prepare anti-collision analysis using ellipses and tool errors model.
• Input, calculate and validate surveys on a daily basis.
• Generate a plan view and graphical presentation of the directional profile.
• Database Management.
• Post well report as per regulatory requirement.
• Support field personnel when required.
• Working location will be onsite at client location in Greeley, CO.

Fuel your passion 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services
• Knowledge of directional and horizontal drilling, wellbore positioning basics.
• Experience in engineering and well plan optimization.
• Advanced PC skills.
• Strong mathematical, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Attention to details.

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience in well planning is preferred.
• Field experience is plus.
• Experience with 3D drawing tools (AutoCad, GIS, etc).
• Competence with well planning software (WellArchitect, Compass, etc).
