Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ISO 14001 Environmental Management system – system establishment, coordination all related issues, internal and external audit, following all CAPA’s, preparing related procedures, instructions ,forms,determinig environmental impacts &aspects, risk& opportunities.• Responsible for GHG Emissions Inventory and verification of GHG data regarding ISO 14064-1 – data collection, calculation and repoting, internal and external audit.• Responsible for providing system design that reduces the negative impact on the environment,• Responsible for following current and upcoming legal requirements, adapting to new legislation, to interprets, recommends and set rules on environmental regulations.• Understanding and coordinating the implementation of the requirements of regulation& standards & compliance for environmental issues.• Serving as a technical advisor on environmental policies and standards to ensuring regulatory applicability.• Applying knowledge and understanding of the environmental legislation and both local and International standards / regulations.• Conducting evaluation on the environmental impacts of the projects, analyzing data and determining environmental operational control procedure and its needs.• Providing systems technical evaluation and integrating the latest technologies into the company,• Making any kind of legal and regulatory reporting requirements within the organization.• Monitoring progress and providing recommendations reports.• Documenting and maintaining plans, requirement, protocols, permits and standard operating procedures.• Preparing, reviewing and updating environmental investigation and recommendation reports,• Monitoring and rreporting environmental sustainability performance data, environmental sustainability projects, and legal declarations.• Analyzing environmental performance indicators and determining environmental action plans accordingly.• Performing internal audits, coordinating external audits, monitoring environmental activities,• Training the employees, subcontractors, suppliers when is needed.• Ensuring all activities are in line with Arçelik Global Environmental requirements.• Communication and coordination with the central department on issues related to environmental matters.• Responsible for maintaining the environmental procedures during a new factory construction• Monitoring environment, health & safety issues.• To review, monitor and interpret certification, licensing, policies, rules & others customer regulations.• To make plan and take necessary steps to implement and maintain appropriate documentation.• To direct and supervise licensing and certification approval processes and procedures.• To assist in updating all kind of safety instructions.• To conduct daily inspection/audit finding/non-conformist with the concern dept.• To initiate & organize different types of OHS training to the workers.• To investigate Accident/Incident (if happens), find out the root causes and implement the preventive or corrective actions.• To support any other instant Cleaning, Health & Safety related issues by the superiors.• Update ‘First Aiders’ & monitor ‘First Aid Box’ with the co-ordination of Medical Staffs Experience
Requirements:• · Minimum 2 years Educational Requirements:• · BSc in Environmental Science from any reputed universityAdditional Requirements:• · Relevant Experience in electrical and electronics product manufacturing company• · Good command in MS Office• · Proven experience as an EHS Officer
