Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise the day to day receiving and dissemination of transfers
- Manage organization of back stock room
- Assist Manager in Director of Operations priorities
- Understand and make decisions on credit issues, product needs, and individualized service requirements of accounts
- Assist Manager in maintaining and nurturing strong and productive business relationships
- Versatile duties including maintaining product inventory, maintaining inventory of office supplies, Customer Service, Answering phone calls and Accounting responsibilities
- Maintaining safety standards
- Work with the sales staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Overview
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting in the coordination, planning, and execution of a variety of activities and events which may include in-house, supplier, local, division, region and Company-wide.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings, travel, conference calls, and complete expense reports
- Perform administrative duties for an individual, group, or department
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence
- Create and edit documents, generate reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Manage schedules, arrange appointments and itineraries
- Answer and transfer phone calls
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
