Job Description

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for the Director of Manufacturing Operations (scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, expense reports, general clerical support, etc.).
  • Sit at the front desk in order to receive deliveries and greet guests.  Assist in registering guests, providing pertinent information and resources, and directing guests to the appropriate contact in the office.  Coordinate transportation for visitors as needed.
  • Support/assist production supervisors with processing time off requests, training reports, and other clerical duties. 
  • Assist in the coordination of PER events for employees, EAW events, etc.
  • Order office supplies as needed.  Process departmental expenses and invoices. Distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Provide professional, accurate, and timely support, contributing to team and departmental objectives
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal facilities issues, and log all maintenance, cleaning and office/location services and refer related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree completed; Bachelor’s degree preferred  
  • At least 5 years office administration or office management experience.

Additional:

  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).

Nice to haves but not required: 

  •  Experience with SAP, Kronos a plus
