Design the Pet Nutrition North America D2C supply and supply chain strategy

• Responsible for the design and implementation of D2C supply chain strategy based on business objectives; this includes warehouse network design, service levels, parcel delivery, planning and order management
• Responsible for developing and implementing a plan for manufacturing and secondary sourcing (external) capabilities to deliver D2C value propositions aligned with the region
• Be accountable for the achievement of deployment objectives on time and within budget
• Evaluate and optimize SC performance including developing KPIs, measuring performance and executing plans to deliver continued improvements.

Ensure that our D2C SC is fully aligned with the global D2C roll-out, and is synergistic with local market networks

• Involve and align with Mars Digital Technology and key cross-functional partners on the SC design, systems selection, and roll out
• Play a key role in supporting other regions deploying the Box set of services – and learn from existing executions in other markets such as the EU
• Involve and manage stakeholders across the SC organization including at sites, secondary vendors, global leadership and those in regional leadership or functional roles
• Ensure collaboration with the Global Box team on new needed services and support definition and deployment

Management of the D2C portfolio integration

• Co-pilot with demand on the right portfolio set-up and provide the supply chain expertise to secure the supply integration

Owner of the Box supply chain processes and services implementation and responsible for continuous improvement of these processes / services

Act as the North American D2C SC expert and link with the Supply function

• Be an active member of the D2C and Omnichannel community (Global & Regional)
• Be the voice of North American into each forum to insure the best "Fit-to-purpose" D2C SC transformation to Business ambitions
• Provide D2C know-how, expertise, and insights to our North American E2E SC organizations
• Perform external benchmarking to assess gaps and create a competitive edge
• Represent the region in key D2C and omnichannel forums.

Knowledge/Experience

• University degree with 8 years of experience in Supply or Supply Chain ( in IE, Technical department, Operations or Logistics)

• Comprehensive Supply and/or Supply Chain knowledge

• Experience in E-commerce related areas is an advantage
• Experience in the optimization of complex processes
• Ability to influence without authority and experience in managing various stakeholders within a global organization
• Ability to build strong customer relations
