As a Non Commercial Customer Development Specialist with Gordon Food Service, you will have the opportunity to cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and, in return, yours! Among your responsibilities: 

• Travel through an assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers to maintain and seek growth opportunities.
• Manage customer business relationships including credits, lost business, growth, deployment of Gordon Food Service resources.
• Coordinate the demonstration and presentation of products and discuss applications, using samples or marketing materials.
• Identify competition, customer purchasing patterns, performs customer sales history analysis, and observes and gathers data to determine the needs of customer operations.

Does this look like you? 

• High School Diploma - Required
• Bachelor Degree - Business, Sales or Marketing Preferred
• Must maintain a valid state driver’s license and safe driving record per GFS policy
• Culinary certification a plus.  Dietitian certification also valued!
• Three to five years previous sales or business experience to include experience or an interest in food business practices and food preparation, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
