Job Description

DESCRIPTIONCome change the way networks are built in the cloud! AWS Networking powers the most secure, extensive, and reliable cloud platform, with more than 20 networking services built to help customers move their business to the cloud. The services we support span connectivity, security, and visibility solutions on AWS. Our services are some of the foundational elements of the cloud that our customers see when they adopt AWS, and they’re critical to helping our customers scale their use of AWS securely and efficiently.

We are looking for specialists that are passionate about networking. Our team works closely with the engineering teams responsible for delivering AWS services such as Direct Connect, PrivateLink, Amazon VPC, Elastic Load Balancing, Network Firewall, Transit Gateway, and much more. We’re passionate about helping our customers understand how and when to use those services to achieve their goals on AWS. Our specialists fill a unique role at AWS - crossing the boundary between product expertise, consultative selling, business strategy, and driving mass adoption.

In this role, you’ll be leading the go-to-market strategy for one or more AWS Networking services. You will define the business goals, target market segments, ideal customer profile, positioning, and then rollout focused adoption sales campaigns. You will develop deep product knowledge for AWS services you support as well as adjacent technologies. You’ll also act as the voice of the customer, recognizing critical signals from the field and the market and partner with product managers to inform roadmap decisions. Above all, you will care deeply about the customer, and understand how adopting networking services contributes to their overall success on AWS.

Inclusive Team Culture
Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have twelve
employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We have innovative benefit offerings, and host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences. Amazon’s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 16 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.

Work/Life Balance
Our team puts a high value on work-life balance. It isn’t about how many hours you spend at home or at work; it’s about the
flow you establish that brings energy to both parts of your life. We believe striking the right balance between your personal
and professional life is critical to life-long happiness and fulfillment. We offer flexibility in working hours and encourage you
to find your own balance between your work and personal lives.

Mentorship & Career Growth
Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re
building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We care about your career growth and strive to plan our work based on what will help each team member develop against their career goals.
