This is a fantastic opportunity for a Network focused Technical Design Architect/Senior Network Engineer to join an exciting project of work within our impressive Sheffield Head Office.

The role will be responsible for maintaining the network, providing 3rd line support to customers and delivering network related projects through a project life cycle from high level design through to implementation.  The Senior Network Engineer / Network TDA must have excellent customer facing experience and have the ability to communicate technical solutions to all levels.  The role requires delivery of internal support documentation to agreed standards and the delivery of transition overviews to peers.

• Assist in the delivery of customer focussed presentations and workshops demonstrating our products and services
• Assist in gathering customer requirements in order to prepare project plans and timescales of delivery
• Work through customer specifications and develop solutions in line with project delivery requirements
• Take ownership for technical delivery
• Assist in the design of technical solutions
• Produce High Level and Low Level Network Design Documentation
• Carry out Network Project Implementation Tasks
• Work closely with all departments to ensure project and service delivery meet customer expectations
• Work closely with Team Manager to assist in the continual development of the team
• 3rd line support of internal and customer services where required

• Palo Alto
• Cisco Routing
• Cisco ASA Firewalls
• Checkpoint Firewalls
• Load Balancing - Kemp
• Data Centre Architecture

Desirable

• Knowledge and experience of:
  • Fortinet FWs
  • Sophos UTM
  • Cisco / Meraki Wireless
  • Network Monitoring systems (Solarwinds., PRTG)
